Goodbye, Fingering Charts !
The "NinGenius Music" iPad app offers both a Study Mode and GamePlay Mode to learn and master the fingerings for every band and orchestra instrument.
NinGenius Music also shows important alternate fingerings along with the default fingering for certain notes on the flute, clarinet, bassoon, oboe, and saxophone. You and your students will never need another fingering chart again, and sight reading will become a breeze! |
Recorder FingeringsThe soprano recorder notes taught and tested in NinGenius Music include every chromatic note from low C (one ledger line below the Treble Clef staff) to high C (two ledger lines above the Treble staff). The app offers two recorder options: Soprano and Alto. Now your general music students have a motivating reason to learn all those sharps, flats, and high octave notes!

Bassoon Fingerings |
The bassoon has a nearly indecipherable fingering system! However, the NinGenius Music Study Mode makes learning the Bassoon fingerings a lot simpler by allowing you to see the fingerings change in REAL TIME as you toggle through the notes of a major or chromatic scale. The bassoon notes and fingerings include low B-flat to high F.
|
Saxophone FingeringsThe saxophone notes and fingerings include low B-flat to double-high F. (There is no low A for Bari Sax or double-high F# for those who have the F# key.) Because there is no reference to "Concert Pitch" all saxophone players (on Alto, Tenor, and Bari) simply choose "Saxophone" as their instrument.
|
French Horn FingeringsBecause there are two common types of French Horns in band students' hands (Double and Single), the Horn fingerings are shown with both options (with the Double Horn fingering more dominant). The notes and fingerings that are assessed in the NinGenius App include low E-Flat to high G.
|
Violin FingeringsAll first position notes for the Violin are included in the NinGenius App, from open G to high B. Studying and testing with NinGenius will help your students overcome all confusion about where the C# is on the G string, and where the F-Natural is on the D and E strings. Imagine that!
